Getting There
Siena, Tuscany, Italy
Florence and Rome are the most convenient international gateways to Tuscany. From either city, you can reach the heart of Tuscany by train or car. The choice is yours!
Traveling from Florence to Siena is simple and flexible. By car, it’s about 1 hour on the main motorway or around 1.5 hours if you prefer the scenic Chiantigiana road. The train ride takes roughly 1.5 hours.
Coming from Rome, driving to Siena takes about 2 hours 24 minutes. If you’d rather not drive, the train takes around 3 hours (with the fastest connections closer to 2 hours 50 minutes), or you can choose the direct bus, which gets you there in about 2 hours 45 minutes.
For those arriving by train, the Siena station is 10 -12 minutes from the town center, and taxis are available for a quick ride to your accommodation. We’ll provide more detailed travel tips and recommendations on our Travel page to ensure you have a very smooth and memorable journey.
While we would love to have all of our guests stay at the Castle, space is limited, and we’ve reserved it primarily for our immediate families & Wedding Party. We truly appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to celebrate this special time with you!
